Jewelry with Life time guarantee

Hello Patron Service Department, I bought three pieces of jewelry, I had bought more, but the three pieces had a lifetime warranty; the sales rep had assured me that they each had a lifetime warranty. Since then we have moved from New York State to Alabam and I decided to keep them so when I had a chance I could contact the company for a possible repair/cleaning. I was told at the time of the purchase that the jewelry would not change color or flake. The ring flaked, the necklace got old and dark, and the bracelet got worn out. With this said can Y'all help me with these three pieces of jewelry? I love your designs and really would just like to see them cleaned and repaired. Sincerely, Aida M Graham

Customer Service HORRIFIC!

I had written to the company complaining about some bracelets I had purchased, I had spent hundreds of dollars of this jewelry, the catch for me was the jeweiry was supposed to be guarenteed for life, which is a joke! Yesterday I recieved 2 calls from Chicago, supposedly from Customer Service Reps, at first who tried to say they wanted to resolve my complaints, but, that was NOT the case at all! Tom and Samantha (Tom being 1st Cust Rep who swore at me the entire time and Samantha who was his Supervisor who blamed the stretched elastic inside the jewelrt on swelling and bloating asking me if I was menapausel? Are you serious?(My husband heard the entire call) and when I told the supervisor I was supposedly put thru to, the 1st man who berated me, called me a *** continued to do so all the while the supervisor absolutely denied the 1st man I spoke with was not there or on the phone, all the while my husband and I heard him continually calling me every name in the book including a c--t!, a *** etc.... I was flabbergasted! The supervisor then asked what the issues were with 2 of the bracelets, and when I explained the elasticity was so loose he actually incinuated and had the gall to down right ask me if I was menopausel and perhaps due to swelling I had stretched the bracelets! I was over menapause #1. and #2.- I could not believe he actually tried that crap, talk about humiliating and CROSSING THE LINE!! I have weighed 111 to 115 pounds for years and years, not that I should even have to defend myself. Just the fact this people think they can talk to customers like this is unimaginable! I beg any consumer to beware and warn you that your broken jewely will NEVER be replaced yet even though they are "Out of Business" they continue to sell this stuff online to make $ off unsuspecting consumers! and if you complain on their site, I hope you don't get a call from these two! My advice=Steer Clear!!!!! of any lia sophia NO matter how good they make the deal look, Ultimately you will end up with broken junky jewelry and God help you if you complain on their Complaints Site= You will be harrassed as I was. BEWARE!

I'm fixing a co workers Lia Sophia bracelets which both have stretched out. I have a product that I know will not stretch out under any circumstances. I have made many bracelets this way that I have had for years.

The part that really hurts is that it is your own fault for buying a pig in a poke ; why would you spend "hundreds of dollars" on anything you couldn't inspect or return ?There's one born every minute - that's why people like that stay in "business".

I purchased a cute ring from Lia Sophia with a lifetime guarantee on it. I've worn it approximately 5 times total and one of the crystals has fallen out and another looks like it's about to. That means I can no longer wear this ring that was really overpriced to begin with. Lia Sophia refuses to honor the guarantee, which is one of the reasons I felt comfortable purchasing this ring in the first place. Unethical business practice. Their new online "outlet" store does not offer the same guarantee and when I reached out to the company, I received the following email: ___________________ Thanks for reaching out to us earlier. lia sophia closed their direct selling business as of December 28, 2014. We no longer accept returns or exchanges for purchases through the direct sales network, as the lifetime replacement guarantee that was offered with purchases prior to this date is no longer valid. I have a nickel allergy. Sales consultant told me the jewelry was nickle free. Ummmm, no it is NOT NICKLE FREE....as you can see from the photos, I had a huge reaction after just 5 hours. I have zero reaction to stainless steel or gold. If you have sensitive skin do not waste your money on the over priced jewelry that causes the same issues as cheap street vendor jewelry.

Years ago, I received a Lia Sophia necklace as a gift. Over the years, it broke twice but I wasn't concerned b/c of the "lifetime warranty". In fall 2014, I sent my broken necklace and $5 handling fee to the company for replacement. I found out 2 months later the company was going out of business. In October 2015, they cashed my $5 check yet I never received my replaced item or a merchandise credit. In April 2015, I finally tried to contact them. After a month, I got a response basically saying I was out of luck. They said they had the right to the $5 check, and if I never received my merch credit, oh well, it expired already and they no longer have access to mailed in items. Basically this company stole a $65 necklace from me plus my $5. It's obvious why they went out of business, but the fact that they can take $70 from me with nothing in return just because they are bankrupt is appalling. If anyone shops at their outlet store, don't waste your money. This company should not get anyone's money-and in fact probably owes quite a bit to customers everywhere.

Booking parties knowing the company was about to close.

The advisor arrived at the party in November 2014 hyped up about the buy two items and get the third item at half price. The advisor also called several times in regards to the customers who wanted to pay in cash versus using a credit card. Well items were damaged and other items were not delivered until January due to company closing. This is a crock of because I believe the advisor took the damaged items home and assumed since the company was closing the people would forget. I am still owed money or the damaged item and no one to handle the problem. She was at the hostess' house to collect the money but when the customer had a problem she would not answer the phone.

Several years ago, I purchased a ring with a "lifetime" guaranty. After several months, the finish wore off and it looked terrible.

Sent it back, replacement was received and the same thing happened again, within a few months.

The lifetime guarantee is that you will spend a lifetime trying to get an item that will never look the way it did the day you purchased it. It is understandable why they ate possibly going out of business and notices of "class action" lawsuits are being brought against the company.

Sent me wrong size ring and won't fix it

I have ordered many items from the outlet since they "went out of business" and opened the outlet without any problems until now. One of the ring I purchased is clearly a miss marked size. I normally purchased a size larger than I take to ensure a fit. All rings prior have fit until my recent order. I ordered 2 rings one was big and the other was way too small. They refuse to replace it with the correct size stating all sales final! What a racket! sell someone the wrong thing then say oh well your stuck with it even if we made the mistake!

Rip off- charged my credit card...no jewelry

I shopped the outlet website after they said they were shutting down their business for the "great" discounted prices. My credit card was charged Dec 3, 2014, I have yet to receive the order. You can not call them since the number is only a recording and they do not respond to emails. I have emailed them 6 times and nothing. My order status is "awaiting fulfillment" since ordering it. As I search the site, prices are lower from when I ordered and the items I ordered are no longer available. I am assuming they are ripping others off too.

I never got my products that I paid $136 for. They sent me a refund check for $30.

This is ridiculous. It took CS over a month to reply to my email regarding it and told me I have to have the master copy from the consultant which I was never given! I have my recipes from the show, but they won't accept them. I am so pissed!

I have to fight to get my money back.... I hope a lawsuit occurs. They can fight all they want! The CS agent told me they have no access to the records to see what I paid!

Since lia sophia is now a web based business they are governed by the Federal trade commission which governs how long they have to ship items or automatically refund your money. Go to the federal trade commission website to see laws.

I would like to start a class action suit against lia Sophia.

I have asked my rep (no help)and called lia Sophia only to get a message they are only accepting emails. So I emailed and got a reply back about 8 times saying they are no longer in business.

Please let's not let them get away with this.

Placed an order on December 18th. Credit card charged immediately and order didn't arrive until the end of January sometime (can't remember the exact date anymore).

I had an item on my order which is noted as sold out. I sent an email immediately when I reviewed my credit card statement for a credit for the item. No refund noted nor response to my email as of now! Also had a damaged item which I reported via email on Feburary 4th.

Finally got a response on February 23 that I should email them back with a new selection! Also sent a voucher for $10 because order took so long to fill. Do you really think I will place another order to have this happen again?! Going out of business sale poorly run!!!!

I would consider being part of a class action law suit if it doesn't cost me money.

Ditto for me on what happened to Karen in New Richmond. Except I finally got a response from them and they said that per the terms of my agreement, there were no refunds.

I would be contacted by a rep if anything was out of stock for an item of equal value. (I was never contacted.) I get that all sales are final. But it was not a sale. The product was out of stock.

They stole my money and I wanted it back. They have now blocked my emails. I'm only out $10 (I refuse to order a replacement item out of principle and I'm afraid they'll charge my credit card account again!) I would never have ordered $158 worth of stuff if I had known I might end up with $158 worth of jewelry I didn't want.

But can we talk about that it is now April and they are still in business?

Lia sophia - great experience

I ordered a ring from lia sophia and it did not fit me when I received it. I called customer service and they e-mailed me a weigh bill for UPS so that I didn't have to pay to mail the ring back. I just had to get the exchange form from their website and fill it in. I had my blue receipt to send back too. The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. It was a quick and easy transaction. I sent the ring back and received the new one in just over a week. The new ring fit perfectly.
